Today’s song is from the movie ‘Sachche Ka Bol Baala-1958’. This movie had made its debut on the blog on 15.12.2013 with its song ‘gorey gaal pe til kaala kaala’. For nearly seven years, thi remained the only song from this movie in the blog.
Today we are adding one more song from this movie. this sog isa duet song like the first one. It is sung by Mohd Rafi and Asha Bhonsle.
‘Sachche Ka Bol Baalaa-1958’ was directed by Bhagwan for ‘Unity Films, Madras’. It was produced by Brijmohan. It had Kum Kum, Chandrashekhar, Bhagwan, Radhika, Leela Gandhi, Kukku, Protima Devi, Jeevankala, Baburao, Shyam Kumar, Ramlal, Jani, Shukla, Kesri and others.
This movie was passed by Censor Board on 16.12.1958. So, this movie will also become sixty-two years old within few weeks now.
This movie had eight songs. They were written by Saba Afghaani and composed by Nisar.
Asha Bhonsle, Mohd Rafi and Suman Kalyanpur had given their voices to the songs in this movie as mentioned in the footnote in HFGK. However, the list of songs of this movie as given in HFGK Vol-III (1951-1960) does not mention singers for all eight songs but it mentions the singers’ name for only four songs as given below;
